Dear Parent / Guardian:
As a member of an AP English 11 Honors class, will be participating in a panel presentation
about education reform as it pertains to the Niskayuna Central School District. Students will be presenting their findings
after careful research and team work. The
school feels that this is a worthwhile experience for the student.
The panel presentations will take place on May 21st in the
high school Media Center during blocks 1 and 2 (7:45 – 10:30). Audience members will include students,
teachers, administration (both high school and District level), Board of
Education members, and, perhaps, the media.
If you would like to attend,
please indicate so on the return slip.
Because this is a school-sponsored activity, students are
expected to represent Niskayuna High School in an appropriate manner at all
times. Students who behave in an
unacceptable manner while participating in this activity shall be held
accountable by the school administration in accordance with school policy.
